Dr. Michael Lam:

There are seven signs of liver congestion. They include disrupted sleep, acne or eczema, unexpected outbursts of emotions, the lack of focus or brain fog, sudden chemical sensitivities or allergic to food, reduce absorption of nutrients and hormonal imbalances which tend to be quite prevalent and advantage in advanced stages of adrenal fatigue. And in this article, we will go through that now, the liver reacts by being sluggish when you're in adrenal fatigue, under stress, the liver will reject and this has been shown in studies involving transplant patients, okay. Stress also causes inflammation of the body. So you know, if you have stress, you have intolerance to certain foods, you have fear and anxieties. These are all things that can point you to potential and liver congestion as the underlying problem. How do you clean the liver, the first thing you do is to avoid toxic liver nutrients including alcohol, coffee, sodas, large amount of sugar, you need to eat whole grains oatmeals and it's very good, avoid being exposed to chemicals, etc. and drink plenty of water every day. Okay, so that's very important. And you can repair you know, by eating two meals a day. Replace at least two meals per week with vegetable juices. Increased water intake and milk thistle is very important. This is a herb that has been proven to help with the body in terms of the liver function. And so the methods are can come in a powder form, and you can take it orally. But what we've found the best is to have a fermented form because the smaller the milk thistle, which is an herb, the easier for absorption. And the best way to do that is by way of fermentation. So you take a fermented milk thistle. And so this is what I do with my clients and I take it myself. I take the milk thistle I put it in a tank and ferment it for about 90 days, the right pH and the right environment. So the absorption of the milk thistle is so much better and gives you much better liver support. So I encourage you to consider that if you feel that your liver is sluggish. It's the first step okay.
